"Choosing Not to Abort Destiny”

The Celebration of a Kingdom Man/Woman began in May of 2009 and is the official outreach of Kingdom Woman Ministries Inc. Throughout each year Kingdom Woman Ministries will obtain recommendations and nominations via e-mail of who should be recognized and anonymously chosen as a representative for the Ministry in their community. The candidates are anonymously selected for the Christ in them, through what they do, how they live and who they are to God, Family, Community and Strangers. Each honoree is endowed with a surprise celebration sponsored by the organization and the community in the hometown of the Honoree. Community Citizens and life long friends, colleagues and associates are invited to the event to join in the surprise celebration and recognition of the selected persons. Each recipient is given a customized award honoring them as the “Kingdom Man/Kingdom Woman on behalf of Kingdom Woman Ministries and their community.

The Ceremonies began along with our inaugural event on May 9, 2009. The Event was titled ‘The Celebration of a Woman’. Our First Honoree was, Ms. Annie P. Kelly of Fayetteville NC. Ms. Kelly was selected for recognition because she was pregnant with Destiny and chose to not abort. She decided to move forward with the desires and purposes that God placed in her even before their was time. She was  honored because of her unwavering commitment to God, to herself and to her church as a Woman of God, her sacrifice of being a widowed Mother who raised her children along with other children, her dedication to her family as a Sister and Daughter, her giving of endless full time hours to her employer as a Career Woman while continuing her undergraduate studies in order to be a Graduate and obtain her Bachelor’s Degree from Fayetteville State University, being a Wife with her husband and maker being the Lord, and being a loyal Friend and trustworthy confidant. This event was scheduled on her day of graduation, which resulted in an even larger surprise for her. The Celebration included a panel of guest speakers who elaborated on each of the names that she was being honored for. Guest Vocalists serenaded her with special songs and a complimentary five course meal was served to all attendees. This Celebration was a great success and allowed the ceremonies and Kingdom Woman Ministries Inc. to begin as a reflection of God in a spirit of excellence! Ms. Annie P.
