She participated in her school Science Fair and was announced as the 1st Place winner for her school. Nia's title was "The MPEMBA effect"....Does hot water freeze faster than cold water?" Out of well over 100 entries, Nia achieved her goal of winning one of the 3 prizes. In fact, she was surprised that she won 1st place. She will be attending the Regional Science Fair at University of NC at Pembroke on Sat, Feb 20, 2010. Please keep Nia in your prayers as she continues to strive to be a successful student.
