U.N.I.T.Y. of NC Inc. was given as a vision to Valisha J. Kelly in the early 2000's and was officially founded by Valisha in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2004, as a federal tax-exempt 501(c) 3 charitable and ducational organization initially operating as a non-profit organization providing services to youth and families in the Mecklenburg County and North Carolina Region.
We promote the involvement of parents, families, educators, businesses and community leaders in the programs that provide social awareness, education, and community service. In collaboration with several local, state and federal agencies, U.N.I.T.Y. of N.C. Inc offers various Programs & Services, Trainings, and workshops to assist in the overall development of youth and families.
Mission Statement
The mission of U.N.I.T.Y. of N.C. Inc. is to foster social awareness and build character throughout the youth population of North Carolina, by providing the necessary tools and resources to youth and their families, conquering the fear of failure, while grasping all concepts of mind transformation and life renewal, enabling them to restore their present lives and have a prosperous future.
